Safe Appliance Disposal
At the end of its working life, the battery must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal. This enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
As mentioned, the built-in rechargeable battery in this product contains substances that could be harmful to the environment. To ensure the responsible disposal and recycling of the device, please follow your country’s rules for the separate collection of electrical products and batteries, or refer to the following steps:
1. Activate the device's power switch and let it run until it stops functioning, ensuring battery is entirely drained.
2. Before disassembling the device and removing its battery, always ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any power sources.
3. Once the battery has been extracted, never reconnect the device to its charger. Additionally, be cautious to avoid causing a short circuit between the battery's positive and negative terminals.
4. Then follow local authority guidelines to dispose of the removed battery.
